Chamber FAQs

Frequently Asked Questions.

The Chamber serves as a community resource platform. Here are just a few of the questions we are commonly asked. If you need more information, feel free to contact us by phone at 419-281-4584.

No, you do not. However, our members receive discounted pricing for all of our events. Registration is usually required to attend, and you can sign up for an event online at members.ashlandoh.com/events or by
calling the Chamber office at 419-281-4584.

Throughout the year, the Chamber hosts “Coffee and Conversation” events which allow community members to learn about local businesses and discuss relevant issues. We also hold Ribbon Cutting, Ground Breaking, and Open House events which celebrate the accomplishments of local businesses. Our Ashland Young Professional’s Group also hosts frequent get togethers. Some are professional development sessions and others are fun – activity related events.

We offer a current membership directory online through our website. You can look up a specific business by name or you can search by business category to get a broader list of businesses.

The Chamber does not collect performance information for businesses based on community members’ praise for services rendered or complaints about quality of work. We do, however, refer callers to the Akron Better Business Bureau who services our area. They are able and willing to listen to callers and help resolve issues through their office.

Yes, the Chamber and Explore Ashland (local visitors bureau) provide a multitude of free resources each year to those inquiring about local events, business services, job opportunities, county maps, etc. If you are looking for specific information, feel free to contact our office by phone at 419-281-4584.
